I traded my '87 Suzy in on my HD in 1990 and there are times I wish I had kept it, especially for commuting and just puttin' around town. I looked for a used Savage for my wife for over a year before locating one in this area and jumped on it when I found it. If you decide to "move up" do it right. Go HD. I think you will be disappointed with anything else after having your Savage. Whether you get another Savage or move up to another bike, keep the old Suzy for your wife. She will appreciate it.
